I bought an MCS motherboard (socket 423, RDRAM) and I hooked everything up. When I hit the switch, everything powers on, other than the power led. Nothing shows up on the screen, it doesnt even turn on. I quadruple-checked to make sure everything is hooked up properly, and made sure that all the settings were correct. The thing just doesnt want to turn on. HELP!

well for starters make sure that you have contenuity sticks in the RAM slots that your not using, also known as "dummy sticks".....the computer will not post without them, thier like 3.99 a piece on newegg.com :P

well if all of your RAM banks have sumthing in them then, your gonna have to be more specific, and sounds, lights, vibrations, or things that you werent sure of, that you could tell us in hopes of helping you solve this.....

Well, when I hit the power switch, everything turns on, I hear the HDD power on, all the system fans that hook up to the motherboard turn on, etc. When I look at the screen, it doesnt power on, and the power LED on the comp case doesnt either. No vibrations, weird smells or anything of that kind tho.
This is why Im really confused. The board was guaranteed to not be DOA and everything on it seems to work exept that main factor.

Is your screen turned on? With the button? :p
Maybe the graphics card is bad. Doesn't explain the power led though. Might be a faulty case led though.
