Whats wrong with the labtop?

when im using the labtop the screens just turn black. sometimes this happens when i move the screen and sometimes it doesnt. it just turns black for no reason. btw...the labtop is still on when the screen is black.

Sounds like a short in the backlight wiring, or maybe just the screen's wireing.

What model laptop do you have? It may be a manufacture defect. Have you searched online for any similar issues/problems. Is the laptop recently purcahsed or quite old?

its a dell inspiron 1000 and i had it for about a year.

i think its time for a service...there may be some small issue inside but i wouldn't recommend to do it urself...
