Have a look at E: and tell me what you think is wrong please.

partition.jpg

If you look on top it shows the disk size correct but look at the bottom and it shows 10796 used and free is only 159,204 free. Where is the rest of the drive? Is this partition to large and windows wont support it or do I have another issue? Please give me some suggestions. Thanks

What program is that you are running to view the partitons? Does your OS see the correct size on the drive properties? If everything is ok, it could just be a bug in the program. It could also be some kind of corruption, if there is a size problem on the drive properties, try scandisk.

The program is partition magic and when I check the properties through the system I see the same thing partition magic is showing me. I just set this up so everything is all new. The drive is a WD4000KD if that helps any.

If you can, try reformatting E: and see if that fixes anything. Try formatting it through your OS instead of the program (right click drive and click format) if the drive doesn't contain your OS. What OS is this anyways, it should be able to handle a drive that large because NTFS supports huge drives. I went on the WD website, try downloading this http://support.wdc.com/download/dlg/dlgsetup11_win.zip it might be able to help you. I'm not sure though.
