I'm hoping someone could identify what's wrong with my computer.
I put this computer together about a year and a half ago.
Now, the weird thing is these problems only happen on a single day like every few months.
Problems:
1. Complete freeze - cannot move mouse, sound skips.
2. Semi freeze - any application I'm running freezes, cannot open folders, cannot load webpages but browser isn't completely frozen, music still plays, mouse still works.
3. Upon restarting after one of these freezes this could happen but doesn't happen all the time...
a. Freezes right after my mobo logo appears. I can press the button to boot into bios but then it freezes as it is looking for hardware.
b. Freezes at windows logo.
4. Occasionally I can feel a current of electricity when I touch the case. I assume there is an exposed wire somewhere but I've taken the thing apart and couldn't find anything. Might be one of the case wires that is crammed in a spot I can't get to.
5. This problem is the most frequent problem I've seen. I have dual monitors and sometimes the second monitor starts to flicker. I can see little lines going across the screen and it flashes black a few times. Usually always happens after it freezes but could happen on a day it's running fine.
Like I said, the freezes only happen within a span of a day every few months.
Other than that it runs fine on any other day...
