Im kinda new at this but anyways. My pc is stock with the execption of RAM and a new optical drive. Im planning to add more as time goes along. Right now my CPU is 33c
Whats your cpu idle & load temps?

wow I'm almost embarassed to post my temps after seeing some of the others
here's an average idle temp. EIST and C1E disabled now so that's at 3.5GHz
during 10.5 hours of prime the highest I saw was 58C on cores 0 and 1, 54C on 2 and 3. My max "CPU" temp was 49C

Better then mine...though my chip is almost as bad as B3 on heat. That and I don't like to pass 55c. At 3.4ghz I touch 60c on Core 1/2 so it scares me ^-^
I am thinking of buying one of the new 130w+ I7 coolers that fit on a 775 board too. Should provide greater results. Then again my fan speeds are only 50% vs 100%...will test that out when summer hits.

I change my cpu setting by going to advanced power options and setting it to minimum cpu speed as like 20% and it helps on temps alot and when I open a game it throttles up to 100%...

Wish I could do that...I found doing that screwed my overclock up and caused random crashes and what not.
Personally id love to run my Q6600 @ 1ghz for idle since I leave my PC on for my alarm clock (I need 2 or I wont wake up
)
