Whats your favorite online multiplayer game, and why?

First for me would be SOCOM II on PS2. The controls take a little getting use to at first, but once you got it down, this game is real good. plus I got friends that play the game, so its always fun to play with them and own everybody else.

Second is Battlefield 2, OMG!!!! I just bought this game!!! And I think its gonna be my number one over socom real soon. I just bought a computer to play this game, and man.....I am hooked. I like that you can pick a certain job, medic, special forces, engineer, etc... plus the tanks, jets, heli's, boats, etc.. that are involed with the game make it real fun.

I was thinking about getting warcraft, or some sort of RPG....but im not really sure if I would get in to that.
 
I was addicted to counterstrike for a while when it first came out, probably my favorite. I also used to play d2 a while, got sick of it though.

I like playing with other people online to complete a task.

edit: oh, and if d3 ever comes out, I would probably get that, as i would hope that should be pretty good, but by the time it comes out, if ever, ill probably have lost total interest.

must say quake 3, yep i said quake 3... Its much more action and the multiplayer game play is awesome, much better than any other game i have played. I play on the EPIC mod, which is much different to excessive and other alike but relatively unplayed by the masses.

apart from that im warming to counter strike: source which is also a very good game, just a pity its full of egotistical d*ckheads :)

and apart from that I own doom but dont really care for it but love to play football (soccer) on the playstation, preferably ISS pro which is the best football game made bar none.

BF2 definately numero uno. Desert Combat is second. CS:S third. Duke Nukem 3D/Blood = fourth. (yes, occasionally we still do play those games sometimes!)
 
Counter-Strike Source no question.... it is just so addicting, and I like it better than 1.6 'cause I really like the detail and the gun models look really realistic.
 
You know whats funny all of use DoD:players always make fun of you CS players while were playing lol, you and your crappy games haha.


EDIT dam it i went over my 1,000 post count mark without relizing it.im at 1,071, i wonder what my 1000's post was?
 
Favourite online multiplayer game: UT2004
Reason: one of few 'online' games I have :D

I probably would have bought Battlefield 2 and played that, but my computer's specs aren't up to the standards :(
