I use a steelseries mousemat, its about 12"x22", and has Syndicate clan symbol on the front(i wanted a steelseries mousemat, didnt care too much for the logo but when you can get it for $9.99 and free shipping vs $30ish, i can live with it lol).

Hmmm, my mouse is optical, but I use a pad anyway cuz the desk doesn't work well with the mouse. As for the pad, plain old black, $3 from walmart
