When does Directx10 come out?

Is there an accurate date on when the new Directx is going to be released??

Directx10.. I cant find the release date anywhere. When are the new cards going to have or anything.

The Nvidia 8800 GTS and GTX are going to be DX10 compatible and are on track for a November release. DX10 will ship with Windows Vista in Jan time frame. Hope that helps.

If you can I would wait and get a DX10 video card. I do not think you need one for Vista but it would help and be nicer.

You can instal DX10 with a DX9 card, but it won't fully support the features of DX10. If you want DX10, you need to upgrade to Vista, and have a DX10 compatible card to fully take advantage of it.
