Occasional boot failure

I dont know what the problem is so i put this thread here!

Sometimes when I boot my laptop, for no reason, it comes up with a flashing line. and doesnt do anything... I unplugged everything, restarted but no change, after restarting 3 TIMES it decided to finally work. I dont know what is causing it and its a bit worrying as its becoming more and more repetative.

when you get it to boot next time, run a hard drive diagnostic.

how do i do it?

you will need to find your Hard drive make to get the right diagnostic. You should be able to find that in your BIOS.
