when is amds new cpu going to come out

Sources have said that Yonah will also be for use in laptops, due to their excellent power consumption, said to reach into the 10s of hours.

basically, get a 939 system for now. rumor has it the chips will produce even less heat for the speed they produce, and the sockets will produce even more heat because of more power usage (speaking AMD M2)

intel has plans for a yonah chip though, pentium M continued in desktops! make that dual core, increase clock speed + fsb speed, it will outperform any athlon 64 chip! (even FX!)

Yonah has already been released in the form of the Intel Core Duo, as a desktop and mobile processor. It is dual core, but not 64-bit.

If you meant the Merom, which is expected to launch in september, this is a codename, for the mobile chip (which will be intels first 64-bit, dualcore mobile processor) is to be the basis for Conroe, which is the desktop chip which is said to be the Processor that will beat out the P4 as the standard.
That is expected to launch sometime 2007.

im talking about the .65nm core or something like that intel released there .65 ones.
Well Intel's 65nm is done and launched, AMDs stuff is still a ways out

when is the second quarter.
Well one quarter would be 3 months.... ;)

what is the complete difference between the 90nm and the 65nm CPU's?
A lot. The most important prolly is the reduction in size of the traces on the CPU as well as (hopefully) a price drop :)

Haha should I switch when AM2 comes out? Becuase I want to get the new technology the fastest I can that way I can have the "newer" tech before another thing comes out. Do get what I'm saying?
I think you answered your own question

it will outperform any athlon 64 chip! (even FX!)
Well thats been the case for quite some time now contrary to what AMD fanboys think. Im still waiting to get my hands on a Core Duo so i can see how she runs against a dualcore A64 but as far as singlecore boxes go, PentiumMs been running down Athlon64s for quite some time now (in gaming)
