intel has plans for a yonah chip though, pentium M continued in desktops! make that dual core, increase clock speed + fsb speed, it will outperform any athlon 64 chip! (even FX!)
Well Intel's 65nm is done and launched, AMDs stuff is still a ways outim talking about the .65nm core or something like that intel released there .65 ones.
Well one quarter would be 3 months....when is the second quarter.
A lot. The most important prolly is the reduction in size of the traces on the CPU as well as (hopefully) a price dropwhat is the complete difference between the 90nm and the 65nm CPU's?
I think you answered your own questionHaha should I switch when AM2 comes out? Becuase I want to get the new technology the fastest I can that way I can have the "newer" tech before another thing comes out. Do get what I'm saying?
Well thats been the case for quite some time now contrary to what AMD fanboys think. Im still waiting to get my hands on a Core Duo so i can see how she runs against a dualcore A64 but as far as singlecore boxes go, PentiumMs been running down Athlon64s for quite some time now (in gaming)it will outperform any athlon 64 chip! (even FX!)
