When it say SLI, does it mean two GPUs?

Hi all,
I see some laptop say NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M SLI
does it mean it have 2 GPUs inside the laptop? with different card or one card ?

Yes, it means it has two 460s in it.

yes. SLI is a matched pair of GPUs from Nvidia. Its sort of like Dual channel memory, but with GPUs.

on desktops they are 2 separate cards. I would think a laptop would be teh same way, but it may be a 460x2 setup on a single card.
