In june they release the new mac book pros (rumor). By may next year if an update on the mac is being out 8 months does that mean a new one is bound to come?

I wouldn't even worry about it. Most of their updates are things like 2.4 to 2.5Ghz processor, or bad graphics card to newer bad graphics card. None of the changes since the MBP came out have been significant.

No. The 512mb on the graphics card update along with multi touch made me interested in it as all my video games and modelling require 512mb vram. Hopefully by next year when I purchase one it be 1gb video ram but if the update now is still there next year its kind of a sign to wait as one be out in another month right?
