Where are all the used software sites??

I must be doing something wrong, but when I search for used software online, it's next to impossible to find except on fleaBay. There's a local brick-and-mortar store that has a small selection; that's where I got Paint Shop Pro and Works used and dirt-cheap. But what about programs like Office, Partition Magic, PhotoShop, or Nero, for instance?
Why's used software so hard to find? There should be a massive market for this stuff because so many people keep upgrading. Or do people upgrade and just toss their old discs in the closet, thinking "someday, I'll use it again"?

There isn't a huge market, which a big part is due to people just pirating the software.

It's hard to find used software on anything that sues a CD key.....because.... well...its used.....and....the.....CD key...

Yeah, yeah. But even with keys that don't "phone home"? Shouldn't be this hard.
