Where are RAM slots???

I have seen inside my computer as I am thinking about getting more RAM (looked to see what type i need. I have 2 slots where 256MB RAM are inserted each. When looking through PC Pitstop results it says I have 4 RAM slots and 2 are in use. I cannot see anywhere for me to put 2 more slots of RAM.

Could these 2 other slots be hiding under the graphics card (which is screwed in) and if i remove the graphics card to insert RAM will the graphics card fit back in. Or am I just really blind and missing something.

Computer is a flatbed style think centre (not a tower)

I have this same thing happen to some IBM Thinkcenter PCs that I have at work when using software to check the RAM. It will say that I have 4 slots for memory when there are actually only 2. A couple of things can cause this to happen. The most common reason is that the BIOS software used to read the status of your computer's mainboard is used in multiple types of the same computer. Many manufacturers will have different versions of the same board that only have certain "options" enabled. The case with the ones at my worksite are that the PCs we order can come with 2 OR 4 slots for memory, we just happen to get the ones with 2 and the other 2 that SHOULD be there are not actually installed.

Another reason this could happen is program compatibility. Lots of software will automatically suggest that there are 4 slots for RAM no matter what PC you are using. Almost all of the time the RAM slots will be right next to each other in groups of 2. So if you don't see it right off the bat, there's a good chance that 2 is all it has.

Just to be sure though, if you could find a model number on your computer and post again, I can check a few things for you.

i think thats model number, it is on sticker on front and has serial number of computer under it.
 
The 8419-KMB only has 2 RAM slots. Sorry, but the only way to upgrade that one would be to install larger modules. It can handle up to 1GB in each slot for a total of 2GB. Depending on what CPU you have, certain memory will perform better. PC3200 (DDR400) is the best bet for this machine.
