Hi, im 27, male, singe and looking for the right motherboard for me, they must support 9800Gt, q6700, and of coarse have a sense of humour! My perfect motherboard would also be SLI capable (may want to add another into the relationship).
If theres anything else I should be looking for in a motherboard help would be appreciated.

Do you already have a Q6700? Or are you planning on buying one, as right now the best bang for the buck ball lands in AMD's court. Also, where do you live so we know where you you will be buying from(ex- newegg or zipzoomfly for usa, ebuyer or overclockers for the UK, etc). And lastly, budget?

K thanks I'll look at both amd see which i prefer. How do i know what power supply I need? Is it based off the processor or? And can you reccomend a motherboard for the q6700 too please? :)

as someone from the UK can i recomend if you are buying online going to www.scan.co.uk

Their stuff on the page looks a pound or so more expensive but their shipping is VERY cheap and fast, so it works out cheaper, especially if you are buying several items from them. And if you are in the north west of england they are based in bolton so a quick journey over and shipping is free (well, except maybe the 50p worth of fuel :P)

that is the memory from them

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Asus...-DDR3-1600(OC)-1333-SATA-II-SATA-RAID-ATX-VGA

there is the AMD mobo recomended from them

Scan don't have the EXACT same motherboard that was recomended before, but that is near enough the same.

If you want an LGA775 socket and DDR3 RAM, then you are looking at quite a bit of money:

that is quite a chunk of your budget gone already.

You can get cheaper stuff going to a computer fair aswell rather than going online, pretty much every sunday bowlers in manchester is on, it's the biggest one in europe and you can build a system for dirt cheap there. 2 and a half years ago now i bought the system i have now only with a few different things (2GB RAM, 1 8600GT, (stupidly) PSU from my case) for just over £300 from there, so you can now probably get yourself a core2quad with huge RAM, huge storage and a decent 200 series card and a good PSU for your money. If you are in the south or are in ireland, scotland or south wales then there is bound to be computer fairs somewhere near to where you are
