i live in canada, so i can't use neweggs.
well, most of my friends bye from canadacomputers.com

anyways, if you were to buy your computer, where would you buy it?
custom? or built (like dell)?

i prefer custom though, saves you some money and better quality i think...

leave your posts, if you know a better place to buy a computer!

its actually newegg, not neweggs. lol

I always buy my parts from newegg, they have good prices, huge selection, nice layout, fast shipping, and i like the reviews.

oh ya, newegg, thanks for reminding me, but is there a way i can change that?
oh well. the problem with newegg for me is that they don't ship anything to canada...

oh ya, i forgot to add " others"
cuz not everyone buys from there brands only...

i forgot about ncix, and "mocc" where the price of cpus are cheaper than usual

For me, building my own (and family members) has been the way to go. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't cost less to do that, but you end up with a much better pc for the money and a better warranty if you perform your own labor.

well this is a dumb poll, lol, youve listed everything in america, what about microdirect, overclockers uk, ebuyer.co.uk, dabs.com, aria.co.uk. most have better prices

If you want to make a perfect poll that lists everything, you need find out the names of every local computer store in every city in every country... yeah right!

But, the poll doesnt even include the larger computer stores in America...

....I personally have bought most parts from Fry's Electronics.
