Where do you put the money?

If you have a limited budget, what components are most important and deserve more investment.

I'm thinking, in order of importance...

1. cpu
2. mobo
3. graphics card
4. memory
5+ all else...
 
Depends on the budget you are looking at, as well as what you plan on using the computer for.

And number one in that list should be power supply, end of story.
 
Once you have a really good motherboard and PSU future upgrades will be real cheap as you only need to buy the 1 part you want.

The motherboard should be quality, but you shan't place a majority of the budget into it. Alot of budget biostar, asrock, ECS, etc boards have great features for the price.
