Where does it plug into?

So my fiancee got me this case for xmas and this morning I stripped everything out of my old one and got it moved over to the new one. All went well getting everything hooked up, except, Im not sure where on the motherboard to plug in the 2-pin cable that I assume powers the front fan speed controller as that is the only thing that is not lit up and the lcd display is empty as well.

I have the Asus M2N-Plus Sli Vista Edition MoBo and cant seem to figure out where this feature plugs into. I consulted the manual but unless theres another name for this control im lost.

Also, the case has a cord with a temperature sensor on it that is supposed to be placed somewhere for the processor. The tag on it is written with really bizarre instructions but I think im supposed to take off the heatsink and place this sensor between the heatsink and the cpu? That doesnt sound dafe to me though, is there another place to attach it?
 
I gotta bump this one because im really lost here... I did look in the manual for the mobo and dont even see a mention for the fan controller
 
ho for crying out loud. I had the freaking adapter sitting next to me this whole freaking time. I was thinking the mobo had to tell it stuff or something!
 
Hmm... a few years ago they use to have a wire attached to the thermostat that went right between the cpu and its cooler, it was very accurate.
