Where does the Chip go?

I think it's a bit silly, but i might as well know. Where do you put the processor Chip on the motherboard?

In the socket.

That raised square in the center of the board with little holes in it. If its and LGA it'll have pins on it.

Your socket may look different, but it's normally in the top left-hand corner of the motherboard. Every socket will look somewhat similar.

Open up your computer and look for the big square hunk of metal with a fan on it. That would be your HSF and your CPU is under that.

Consider having help before you venture into the depths of your computer, it sounds like you are guess and checking the building process which can be fatal to your computer (and possibly you).

do thses come along with the mother board?
they come with computers from comps like Dell or Compaq, but if u only bought a motherboard, then no it would not come with it (unless the store was having some type of deal/sale where it came with it for cheaper)
