but how do i find it on my computer

thanks

eg, what do i type in the taskbar

.dll files can be anywhere, depending on the program. I have over 5500 on my PC, and lots of programs have them, not just Windows.

Most DLL's are stored in the system32 folder, so go to My Computer > C: (or wher your OS is) > Windows > System32.

As OvenMaster said, they are stored everywhere, but thats the most common place for them. What DLL file are you missing?

Some can be downloaded from sites, for example if a freeware program is missing a .dll file it might be found on the programs homepage.

Okay. Trying to run which program makes an error message appear?
Google search says this could be in Miles Sound System, Quake, System32, KaZaa, Warcraft III...
