Where is my fan?

I'm looking at an HP-f233wm laptop for a fellow student that freezes up. I looked at cpu and ram usages and its not bad. So I thought temp issue. Speccy only shows HDD temp. Opened it up and there is no fan. Is this normal? I have never seen a laptop without a fan. I am sooooo confused. Need some help for those that have have more experience than me.

it doesn't have one probably due to only having a low end celeron dual core cpu.

Yeah, they are low end, don't put out hardly any heat. Its a low end laptop which you can't do much with, basically email and websurf.
