Where is the LCD Inverter in HP

I figured out how to open the bottom of the HP ZT1195 and check inside, very tight, now how do I open the LCD to look for the LCD Inverter?
I did not see the inverter under the controls cover or under the keypad.

I believe you have to pull the framing away from the LCD itself. I don't know how though.

^ Ayup.

It's much easier if you remove the LCD screen from the chassis. Each model is different, but basically locate the hinges and undo the screws (might have to take off other parts first). Pop the front bezel off the LCD (again, varies with model, but 99% are self-explanatory), remove the screws holding the LCD to the back, pull out the LCD itself and you should see the circuitry.

You want to remove the LCD completely from the laptop. Then, take a small precision flat head (plastic is preferable) and then start to pry away the front chasis piece. I have done this on tons of laptops and they all tend to have the same method. A lot of times there will be "rubber stoppers" on top of the screw and you may need to pop those off first.
