Where to buy,what to ask/search for?

I'm upgrading a laptop and a desktop ecu/cpu
neither prossessor came with heatsink paste.
What it the technical term for that paste?
And where to buy it, I was going to search amazon/etc but without the correct name/term for the stuff, it's a lost cause

You're looking for thermal paste (or thermal compound). The better and affordable brand is Arctic Silver 5.

Depending on your country, things might be cheaper/more expensive without reason.
In my country, AS5 is really expensive, but Noctua NT-H1 is rather cheap.
The difference between the two is next to none, and if you look at benchmarks, they beat eachother (they're that close in performance), so buy whichever of the two that's cheaper per gram (often sold per gram)

they had three types, I got the middle grade with 3 minerals the top one had "silver" as the 4th, and the lower one was silicone based.. was 12.99 for 2 tiny squeeze bottles, should be enough for the 2 cpu's think it totals out to o.24 of an ounce

It'll be enough for 20 CPU's. You use hardly any of it. Only about a pea size drop (and even that is too much).
