Where to keep bookmarks online

Hi,

is there a website where I could keep my links... so that I login and see all my favorites... See I move a lot and I cant find a way how to have my bookmarks allways with me?

what do you guys use?

What's wrong with keeping them in your bookmarks list? Just because you move, nothing happens to your bookmarks/favorites.

If you use Firefox, you can put all the links you want into a fresh folder (let's call it "Links") and at the bottom of that folder, you'll see an additional line saying, "Open All In Tabs".

If you want to back up your Bookmarks, open Firefox and click Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Export HTML. Then save that file if you ever need to reinstall FF from scratch.

I was wondering also. Then why not save to a usb thumb drive.
portable as well and carry in your pocket.

Well I move a lot and dont have a laptop - btw that would be a great problem solver but dont have the budget for a decent one.

I could carry them around on a flash drive but I have about 200 of them, of coz dont use all of them but many and many new come monthly.

I guess I would have to stick with Google Bookmarks than, unless there is some page particularly for this?

There is a plugin for Firefox and Win Explorer called Xmarks, which will save your bookmarks in the cloud and you can access them from any computer (and therefore maintain the same set of bookmarks with multiple machines).

I use Delicious a firefox add on that syncs book marks and tags amongst all your computers in the cloud.

I use Mozbackup. Does it all completely and everything. Firefox, Thunderbird and a few other clients and used for years. Saving favorites only is not a problem with a microdrive.

Heres the link. it backs up many programs and have used for maybe 10 yrs. It backsup everthing..
