where to place fans..

hey guys,
I ordered 2 120mm fans to reduce the heat in my system, but there is one problem. I don't know where to place them. Should I place them on the side panel or should I use them as top fans?
I felt that much heat is coming from above, but I think that side panel will be more effective...

What you think guys?

No, no, one side is intake, and the other side is exhaust. You can switch them around. I'm asking what are the fans already in your case, position and intake/exhaust. (The ones in front are most likely intake while the ones in the back would be exhaust.

I've 2 fans, in front panel and the backside. I think both are exhaust.
How do I need to place them to let them exhaust? And whats the best from the 2 ?

If its in front, I'd say that's an intake.

There are little arrows on the fans that point where the airflow is going. If you want intake, point the arrow towards the inside of your case. If you want exhaust, point it to the outside.

I would put one fan as intake on the side and the other as exhaust on top.
