Where's my 30GB gone!?

Hard Drive: 74.3GB WD Raptor

Okay, I'm using Windows Vista and my drive isn't partitioned in anyway. I've enabled to view hidden folders, and when I right click my C: Directory says:

14.6GB free of 69.2GB

Whenever I go into C: and select all the files, it says I that I have used 41GB. So, where's my 28GB gone!?

Well, is there any way that I can?

It's quite concerning that I have 28GB of stuff I have no idea exists about. I only have 16GB and FSX which I'll be installing shortly is 15gb.
 
right click on the drive in my computer and pick properties. It will tell you how much space is left.
 
Yes, I've done that as seen above. But I want to know what exactly is using all of this space, because I've only found around 45GB of it.
 
Hi,i had a similiar problem i lost 80gb,i managed to find out where it had gone with a freeware tool called disktective,but i dont know whether it works on vista.happy days alex
