This is annoying and might expose my (lack of) experience.
This is my first build. I put all the parts together and put juice to it with no smoke, sparks or fires.
I have 64-bit Vista that I put into the DVD-ROM and it went through its "thing" and everything went great until it asks for the product key.
Where the h*** is my product key?
I looked all over the packaging for it and my eyes are failing me. The screen that I'm looking at "strongly suggests" that I enter my key now.
If I ignore that and continue, I get the screen that asks "are you SURE you don't want to enter your key now?"
Is it normal to just activate it on-line, later? AND, if that's the "norm" why do they put these screens in?
Thanks in advance,
Jon in American Fork
