Which 2GB 6950?

Hey people, finalizing the parts for my build (again) and now I'm to my graphics card.

It's going to be an ATI Radeon HD 6950 2GB, I've decided that much... Now it comes down to the brands

Here are the two options I'm mainly considering:

MSI Twin Frozr ii

^Mainly want this card for the cooling...

Second option:

Xfx CDFC (Dual Fan card)

^Mainly due to it having 2 fans as well as a lifetime warranty assuming I register the card within 30 days of purchase which I plan to do (I don't plan to overclock or mod so isn't this pretty much foolproof if something goes wrong?)

The ability to unlock these to a 6970 isn't my biggest priority, more of an extra than a essential in my mind.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

Good day to you

the msi, they have better support and more likely to get the rebate from, xfx seems to be dodgy in that department. also the free dirt 3 is a pretty good deal too.

I'm kind of leaning towards the MSI card myself but that lifetime warranty sounds SO APPEALING... Waiting for more peoples input before making a purchase... I always get buyers regret :P
Especially when I'm on such a tight budget

And I agree, XFX is a company in it's infancy compared to MSI which has been around over 25 years I believe?

I would still go MSI. I have the Twin Frozr III edition of that card and it keeps it really cool. I have no regrets going with MSI

Well, everyone's said MSI, so MSI it is. Thanks guys for helping me reach this decision. Appreciate it!

Also, salvage I see you have a twin frozr iii 6950, how is the volume? I'll have headphones on 99% of the time though, I'm just curious

Generally I can hear a low hum at most. When I turn up the speakers (For better gaming :P) I can't hear them at all. they can get loud but with headphones you would not notice them.

Just FYI I like the Twin Frozr II fan design better than the Twin Frozr III. If I were to buy again I would get the Twin Frozr II design. They are a bit quieter.
