Which 5850 should i get?

So i called amd, email'd gigabyte and it just doesnt seem like there is any way to fix my computer to run crossfirex 5770s.

So i think ill just sell these two and pick up a 5850.

the question is....

which one of these 5850s should i get

i play on a 24" led screen so would the 2gb be worth the 60$ more?

probably not. i would say the only reason for the extra 1gb of vram would be for eyefinity. 2 1gb ones in cf would be plenty for a 24" monitor.

do note that you can get a 5970 for less money and you can overclock it to well past the 5850 specs without having to raise the fan speed or voltage very much. just something to think about...

oh sorry, i thought i red that you were going to crossfire the 5850s. i was like "why is he going for such an insane upgrade just because he can't crossfire the 5770s?" never mind...

yea im kinda getting sick of it, been wanting to upgrade the video card and crossfirex seemed like the way to go. even amd doesnt seem to know what exactly is causing it.

1 card works fine, I dont have to spend a huge amount but i hear a 5850 works just nice.

Im not even sure if i wanna spend the money for it, may even stick with this 5770 if the 5850 isnt worth it

I knew toxic are good, but I doubt if it worth that much over an ordinary 5850
