i finally relized how much cheaper an AMD set up was compared to Intel. So i've been searching and found these three.
This is the one im leaning towards: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2436198

heres the other two:
ABIT

Biostar

OK so tell me what one you guys would think is better, they are all about the same price and can go SLI so it fine either way. Which Athlon CPU would also be a good choice?

I just bought an Abit, I am connecting it right now.
It had nice rebate and newegg shipped it fast.

If you're going to spend $100 you should buy a GIGABYTE or ASUS.
If its between those 2, the Mobo 101 says to stay away from Biostar.

Last if you're in U.S. you should Newegg.com

peace

if you plan on going SLI in the future you would want a board with the 590 chipset because it will run 2@ 16x, as the 570's will only run 2@ 8x...just somthing else to keep in mind

That is true but most benchmarks show no improvement, as of now card dont even use up the full 8X bandwidth and hes not going to find a 590 for 100 bucks

yeah true, i got mine for $99.99 instead of $189.99 since newegg had a "one day sale" lol, so i snatched it up right quick :)

Theres not really that much difference between the 2 other than more PCIe lanes and more Sata ports, If you need more than 4 Sata ports go for the 570 but other than that not much difference. I,ve installed both boards and there not much performance difference either, I use the M55SLI
