Which Anti-Virus is the best?

I wouldn't come near it with a 5m pole...looks like crap to me. Stick with the well known names, like Avast. (and not AVG)

I'am "all set" with AVG 7.5, AVG Anti-Spyware Free, AdAware SE Personal, Jetico personal firewall, and other utilities. :D

You wouldn't know until you actually tried it. You may find far better then Avast. :eek: :P

You have both made you positions and recommendation very clear, and continued arguing is not appreciated.
SirKenin, people should feel free to say whatever they want without fear of you calling them implied names. By all means defend your recommendation... but politely please!

Now lets get back on topic

I prefer Avast,
I have never even looked at SirKenins recommendation of Prevx.... will run it past Buzz and Bateman first

I strongly disagree. Pest patrol is crap. I have it and the free clients I run beat the hell out of it. Thats just me though.
 
I cant believe anyone has heard of Antivir ( www.free-av.com ). It works really well, is freeware, and according to PCWorld, it is better than both avast and AVG. I also use an Ad-Aware and Spybot combo for spyware. I've got Windows live onecare, but its a piece of crap and so is the Pest patrol.
