Which antivirus?

Norton is crap, I dont use any! Just make sure your behind a router and dont go to those porno sites... youll be ok :)

I'm not big Norton fan and I am not sure if free is a good thing for an antivirus. Don't use have to have huge staff and expenses to keep it updated?

Theres a free version which will suit you fine as well as a "pro" version.

Besides, the detection rates don't lie.

AVG is one of the best anti virus's around, paid for or free.

Another vote for AVG. I uninstalled Norton Corporate and now use Free AVG and have the same protection, minus the huge Norton "lag" headaches.

LukaBuka.

I've seen this same post in another forum, please don't post the same question in multiple forums, people's time is limited for giving advice, that time will be better spent in helping another poster's problems.

best ever combination zone alarm and avast, i used to use that for a long time and now i'm testing panda internet security and it's pretty good for now i mean excelent, nothing yet found on my comp, it has everything you need anti-virus of course, anti-spam, anti-hacking, firewall, every day updates, anti-spyware etc. simply it rocks

NOD32 or Norton2005, everyone is crying about norton being a system resource hog but 2005 is only useing 10mb of ram on my pc unless I am doing a scan! I have also heard good reviews about kaspersky and panda! If you are looking for a free antivirus I would recommend AVG or avast and I would use a good firewall such as sygate! There are hacking tools out right now for zonealarm so you might not want to use that! Norton2005 has eveything you need a firewall is built in and it will automaticly scan p2p files you download, email ect ect! It has saved my pc more than once!
