Which are the best?

I'm ordering the majority of the parts this and next week, but Vista and the GPU will wait. I have another GPU i'm going to use in the meantime.

EDIT: I've been considering the P5W DH Deluxe now that I'm not getting a sound card. Is it really worth the ~75$ more? It doesn't look like it.

The only things that are keeping me from deciding are the extra PCI ports, extra ethernet, chipset, and the whole media-thing. Is it worth the $?

dang that is a reallll tough comparison

the P5N supports a higher FSB which is really nice for quad core, but thats looking into the future

it really hurts to see the P5N with PCIE 8x unless in SLI, and that might turn the tables for the P5W because you wont get nearly all the performance out of your R600

also the P5W has better audio, SATA and RAID options, as well as WIFI

so P5W and it is worth it after seeing the PCIe, audio, SATA, wifi

I think its 16x out of SLI, 8x in SLI. The audio I don't really care about since eventually I will get a soundcard. As for the wifi...it seems a bit gimmicky. I already use an adaptor and connect to a router, so I doubt I would find a use for it. I doubt I'll use all four hard drive slots, but I might. 4 int. plus 1 ext. would probably be fine for me, but you never know. The RAID is still holding me back, as is the extra ethernet port. I may get a Wii someday, and I use my PC as a bridge for my 360 already. So if I get a Wii, I may need that port. Then again, I could get a card with a port right?

Then that brings up the whole PCI slot issue. Add in a sound card and an ethernet card, and the PCI slots on the P5N are taken up. But on the P5W, I won't need the ethernet thing and there are 3 slots, so I'll have plenty of room.

Any other input?

wait, whats the two ethernet for? sorry for the kinda off topic question, but how do you use the PC as a bridge for your 360 and what does it do for the 360?

Basically what it lets me do is use the same router that my PC uses w/my xbox. The xbox uses the PC as its gateway. I plug the 360 into the PC with an ethernet cable, but I forget what I did for the whole software thing. You can probably find it online or on microsoft's website.

If I were to get a Wii, I would do the same thing, which is why 2 ethernet would be nice.

sweet

about the mobos, its too tough of a choice, dang I think the mobo is the hardest part of a build too many choices that are too similar

I have everything decided except the PSU and RAM.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - $322.00
ASUS P5W DH DELUXE - $219.99
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB - $264.00 ($40.00 Rebate)
RAIDMAX RX-630A - $99.99 ($20.00 Rebate) or Antec True Power Trio - $129.99 ($20.00 Rebate)
Western Digital Caviar 250GB 7200 RPM - $69.99
NZXT Apollo BLACK - $69.99 I got a newsletter from Newegg saying that this case had a $20 rebate or something. But it isn't showing up. Anyone else get this?
LG 18X DVD±R Super-Multi DVD Burner - $30.99

The reason I'm apprehensive about which RAM or PSU to get is that I know each is a good brand and a good product, but Antec and Corsair have a much better reputation and renown then Raidmax and Patriot. I know the latter are still great brands, but is it worth paying the extra $5 for the RAM and the extra 30 for the PSU? If it isn't 100% necessary, I'd rather stick with the cheaper option.
