Which cable to use

I have a ATI 3870 video card and what I want to do is hook it up to my 32 inch LCD tv. My TV has HDMI, VGA, and DVI inputs, I know HDMI is the best but how bad is VGA going to be? The reason why I'm thinking VGA is because I already have a 20FT vga cable.

Your better off going either DVI or HDMI, but HDMI preferrably.

Just use HDMI since you have it. It just a waste if you don't use it.
