assuming the rest of your system is up to the challenge, the gtx260 is the card you want if you are looking to run crysis on very high. i think the difference in price is easily justified by the performance leap. the 9800gtx is still a great card and could run crysis at pretty high settings, but if you have the money, get the 260

alright thanks man. i really appreciate it.. also is there any advantages to getting a 9800gtx's? instead of a 260??

less money, less power consumption, aside from that i can't think of any. your video card is one of the huge components of your system that you don't want to skimp on. buy the best possible card you can afford. it is money well spent if you are into gaming.

kk gtx 260 it is, that alot.. do u think a 800 watt psu is good enuf to run the 260 a q6600 intel core 2 quad psu, on a nforce 780 i mobo? plus other stuff like 500gb hdd 2(2gb) ddr2 ram, dvd rom, dvd burner, and the rest of the normal stuff?? plus the 6 fans my case came with?

yes, more than enough

Crysis or Crysis Warhead? I'm running an 8800GT (in my sig) and I get about 35 fps maxed in DX9 (without AA) and it looks great. I tried the same settings in the Crysis demo and got around 20. Either way the GTX 260 should run it perfectly.

go for the 260, but remember, Crysis is the game that not even GOD can play one max settings smoothly, so dont worry about it

Get a 4870 its not more then the 260 and I think its got better benchmarks on most games.

Yeah right, I can play it on my rig pretty smoothly, not prefect but pretty dam smooth. My 4870 OC'd does fine.
1360x768 everything all the way up and that tweak to make it very high. I only have a few hiccups when I first jump in. I think its due to my ram.
