Hey guys im not sure what to go with out of these 2.

The CM 690 or 590?

Which is better in your opinion, i hear the 690 is a great case just not sure with the 590. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance guys!
 
I got the 590.

It really is awesome.

Dropped my temps a lot, looks good, and has the HDD cage, that allows air to flow through the case, not get blocked...

I can vouch that its awesome
 
690,bigger,tooless and better cooling.

i was gonna get it but didnt bother.
 
bigger - by a tiny bit, but I assure you, the 590 hasa lot of room.

tooless - The tooless on the 590 is flimsy, and the 690 has the same sytem (regarding hard drives mounts). The PCI tooless are quite firm. They ar nice as they assure you you line up properly, but I wouldnt trust them standalone. I used screws...

better cooling - The 590 has fans in the same positions, and the Hard Drive cagellows air to actually pass (Its not blockes by a HDD rack)

The 590 is better
 
ok you guys have made it harder for me... i am not sure what to get now, judging by what comp freak has said he has won me over with the 590 but if there's any other reason why the 690 is better slap it down so i know for sure what to get! thanks guys :)
 
Well ,with both cases has an optional side window you can buy for 25.00 if wanted, ive had my 690 sense the 1st week it came out and had 3 differant setups in it,, the 690 has a fan mounts on the bottom two on the side one in the front,two on top thats airflow! plus as far as looks go witch play some part, i think the 690 is way better looking! if you ask me:D

Do you really need the fan mount on the bottom (If you gonna do anything with it, its intake. And that will suck a lot of dust.

The 590 also has 2 on top, one rear, one front (on HDD bay, so its adjustable, as the fan on the bottom would hit the PSU with cold air, if you raise the HDD cage a little, you will get better airflow around the case) and it has 2 on the side.

See how the fan is limited to cooling the HDD's only?

Where as the 590, the fan can blow air through INTO the case...

The rest is the same. Basically, from there on, its looks.

Also, one thing the 690 has, is the smaller holes ontop the top fans, so that dust wont fall in. But If you put top fans, thats not a problem...
 
with so many fans already, its really has no use,

I mean, the only thing that will do is create crosswind and turbulence.

There is already a fan for the GPU, so again there is no need.

As I said, base it on looks, and the mesh filter ontop of the top fans.

Cause as far as funtionality goes, the 590 is better cause of the HDD cage...
