Hey everyone. I currently have 2 cases at home and I need to get rid of one of them by selling it. Which one should I keep? Antec 1200 or Cooler Master ATSC 840?

I was thinking the same. I'm doing this Black Widow Project where all the parts are going to be black and red and as you may know, on the black widow spider, it has that red triangle shaped mark.

On the Antec 1200 theres this triangle shaped mesh plate that I'm going to paint red to make it look like the triangle on the black widow spider.

I'll post up pictures when I get everything done and assembled.

I would suggest you to go with Cooler Master ATSC 840, its stylist and flexible easy to use.

Definantly keep the 1200 as it is massive. Also in the future when better hardware is available it will be capable of just putting better hardware in it and switching it on and you will have no need upsize.

coolermaster case all day, i have used the antec 900/1200 and i wont get another antec again.

too much plastic, coolermaster one looks better and well made - yes the antec is massive and has good airflow too many led's etc etc for me

I agree with Funky, CM cases always seem to have much better build quality. The 840 isn't exactly small either, that would be my choice out of the 2

ATCS 840 is an infinitely better case IMO. Plus, its a nice and sturdy aluminum case, while the 1200 isnt exactly known for being the best build quality. Plus the 840 is quite roomy(the prototype SR-2 case was an ATCS 840 with modded mobo tray).

You've gotta love the big boy fan on the 1200 though, no matter how logically you look at it and decide that the CM is better:D

I own a A1200 and I'm really getting sick of it.. It looks pretty nice, but it lacks soo many features. To me it seems like as basic of a full tower case you can get, spare for the ungodly amount of fans..

2nd that

I have never used one but, just telling by the pictures you can see the CM looks built much better. The 1200 is just way too fancy looking. The 1200 is over-used and over-rated.
