which cpu cooling solution

Started a new thread rather than carrying on my other one, done a few things suggested to me to help my cooling problems and am now looking to get something to keep the cpu cool, was just wondering if anyone could suggest a good one, my budget is about £50, also is air or water better?

On a budget, air cools better, you have to spend quite a bit on a water cooler to get better effectiveness vs a traditional stack cooler.

Water cools better; BUT air is safer. i.e. no chance that a leak will cause shorts.

Thanks for the replies, I shall keep this in mind when I get my cooler, however after researching a little more and watching a video forwarded on a forum, I have decided to just change the case for now to one that has better airflow, I will then get as many fans as I can for it and if that still doesn't sort it I will get a better cpu cooler
