Which CPU will be best for me?

Is the only option an X2? Because i said that i only use it for word docs, e-mail, ect, and my budget was $200-$500... and it still said i should get the X2.
 
Yea, I think so too. I put browsing and word docs with 200-500 budget, and I got it to. I guess the other parts should be 5 GB HDD off ebay, Krap-E Brand Mobo, and 64 MB ram. Lol.
 
I got a celeron (said I was 50+), I think it chooses almost entirely by age since the younger I make myself the closer to better performing the chip becomes (40-50 = P4, 33-40 = Sempron, 26-32 = A64)
 
I still say wait for conroe. Does anyone here who keeps mentioning the X2 have any evidence why they should take that over the Intel "Core"?
