Which CPU?

Ok, here are some basic specs of the computer that I am building:
2gb ram
250gb hard drive
Vista Home Premium
ATI Radeon 3850
500w power supply Dual 12v rails @31A

Ok, I was going to go with the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+, but I found 64 X2 4000+ is $58.00 while the 4200+ is $74.00. Will the 2.2ghz have a big advantage over the 2.1ghz? I won't be overclocking. I'm just on a budget and I'm trying to build a good pc with what I have:D.

Also, I can get a 4600+ (I believe) for $80.00. One problem, though; it's an 89w model instead of a 65w. Can my power supply handle that? Will it run a lot hotter? Thanks for all of your help, everyone!

why not go with a core 2 duo? they are cheap and perform better...you could get an E4500 and overclock it easily to 3ghz.

Hello. I already have the AM2 motherboard and Core 2 Duo processors are way out of my budget. I don't have any problem with Intel, I just chose AMD over them. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas or whatever your family celebrates at this time of year!

I bought the 4600+ X2, a cable that I needed, and some good thermal grease for the processor to keep it cool. We'll see what happens.....
Thanks!

You're PSU is fine. The chip itself will run alittle hotter than the 65w proc, but seeing as you're not overclocking this shouldn't be a problem in the least.
