Which Defrag to Use

Never used Norton. I have and liked Diskeeper without issues. Also like Perfect Disk. both will do system files during boot process. both can get very extensive if you set it up right.

I use Auslogics disk defrag, its free and does a fantastic job, and updated quite frequently.

I have the capability to use two different defrag programs, Norton's or Diskeeper 2008. Which one should I use? Thanks

I used Diskeeper 2008 Pro previously for a year; excellent utility (presently using the 2009 Pro version) that defrags automatically, defrags system files etc etc.

As for Norton, after a really bad experience with one of their a/v utilities a few years ago, I've avoided all their products.

The build in Windows Defrag is just fine. People say this program works better and what not but frankley when they are tested by 3rd party testers there is never any noticable gains.
