Which do I choose?

Hello,

I am customizing a new PC for gaming that I will purchase, but dont know about video cards. The game I want to play requires the following video:


VIDEO
Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
ATI Radeon 8500 or greater


I am good with everything except the video card. Where I'm getting it from does not offer any GeForce " FX " cards but the ones listed below. Will the following work or do I have to get an FX one. If so, Which one should I choose?


1. NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Graphics with TurboCache supporting 256MB 16X PCI Express VIDEO CARD()
2. NVIDIA GeForce 7100 GS Graphics with TurboCache supporting 256MB 16X PCI Express VIDEO CARD()
3. NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE 256MB 16X PCI EXPRESS VIDEO CARD()
4. NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS 256MB 16X PCI EXPRESS VIDEO CARD()
5. NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB 16X PCI EXPRESS VIDEO CARD()
6. NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 512MB 16X PCI EXPRESS VIDEO CARD()
7. NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS 256MB PCI Express x16 Video Card
8. NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS 512MB PCI Express x16 Video Card
9. NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT 256MB PCI Express x16 Video Card()

the 7600gt is the best out of those and yes it is way better than the fx5700 it will have no trouble with your game if itonly requires a 5700 or better.
 
Im interested in Battlefield 2 and Brothers in Arms. A lot of the games I'v seen require a GeForce "FX" card. Really appreciate the advice.

Moshi where are you located at? If in the USA use newegg.com for parts. They are a decent site with good customer service (for the most part).
What other parts for your computer are you looking at buying?
 
I am in the US. I was however getting a custom PC from cyberpowerpc.com. I am under a tight budget of $1000. I was originally planning to get PlayStation3 but then I needed a new pc (this one stinks). So, I decided to get a gaming PC.
 
I would strongly consider building your own. It is easy to do and you will receive a much better computer building it yourself. We will help you build it if you decide to build it yourself :)
 
Really appreciate that, but its ok. I dont think I have enough knowledge to do so. I'm only in high school. I took Info. Tech Foundations, and had a really hard time building my own PC. My parts were not compatible with each other, my opticle drives were not working at the end, and it goes on. Thanx though.

I explored another site for Gaming PCs: ibuypower.com. Also, I need another tip: Should I get a PC with an Intel P4 processor or an AMD Athlon one? I dont understand something: the Intel ones are 3.0-3.6 Ghz and the AMD ones, the most expensive one was only 2.6Ghz. Yet they advertise AMD like its the best. Or is it because I shouldnt look at the speen only?
