which duo core processor to get?

so i have a vostro 200, had it for a while, recently bought a 400 watt power supply for my 8800gt (dont laugh i got it for $80) i know im stupid should have spent more on the power supply for a 600watt...to late. Anyways im running an e2140 1.6ghz overclocked at 2.6 1m cache its really old. i was looking at the e6700, on ebay for $100, will i notice a big difference in 3dmark 06 becuase im getting just over 10 000 now. Any other cheaper processor's to get that are good for overclocking? BTW i have to do the BSEL pin mod becuase of the stupid dell motherboard.
 
Get a Pentium Dual Core E6300 if your board supports it (NOT the Core 2 Duo. the Pentium one is a 45nm, 2.8ghz. the core 2 duo is a 65nm 1.86ghz)

You won't need to overclock it, but you can if you want. if you have the proper cooling you can get up to 4ghz.
 
oh and yea my socket is 775 so it should support most, i also should mention my fsb wall of my MOBO is 1333 so i dont think the fact that it runs cooler will make a big difference because i can only overclock the e6700 to 3.2 anyways
