Which DVD drive???

I'm looking at a new computer and a difference between the two is one has a "DVD SuperMulti Dual Layer Drive" and the other has "DVD Writer Dual Format" drive. The one with the DVD SuperMulti... has a larger screen and is £100 cheaper.

Could someone let me know what the difference between these two drives are and if a "DVD Writer Dual Format" drive is worth the extra £100? Thanks very much.

SuperMulti for the average joe is a lot of advertising hot air. I'm surprised they did not call it the SuperDuperHyperMulti which sounds so much more impressive. All it means is that the drive read and write capabilities conforms to a list of disk sizes and formats. If you just want to read and burn the average cd or dvd, it is of no importance. Never had a SuperMulti drive and never had a problem.
