Which Cooler would be better?

I have this one now and my temps seem kinda high

I'm thinking about getting this:

I'm running an AMD X2 5000+ BE, with 8Gigs ram and my idle is 38C, when I play any game or multitask it goes up to 40-42C, it seems pretty high.

I didn't bother looking at your links but the rule of thumb is that the more air a fan moves the better it cools and anything with heat pipes will e more effect at pulling the heat of the cpu. There are some newer cpu coolers like the butterfly and otherones that try to maximize the amount of surface area of the heat sink. From my experience the really expensive ones aren't work the money but the $50 and under ones seem to be.

Thanks for the help, but I think my issue is my case..............bad air flow. Here are the temps

Processor Temp is 38C (core 1 33.2 and core 2 is 40.2)
Mainboard Temp is 40C
Power/AUX Temp is 32c

Hard Drive (has OS) 40C
Hard Drive 2 36C

Now these temps are with just Firefox open and nothing else. If I play something like Need For Speed or some other game the temps shoot up to 40-42C and sometimes higher. The room is set at 76F

So my thought is more along the lines of getting some airflow going in there because when I was checking PC wizard my exhaust fan is only spinning at 20 RPM so there is little to no ventilation. Since my Heat Sink and Video Card take up so much space I can't really add any fans to the side panels because there is no room.

I think I'm going to pick up one of these and see what happens

If it matters the PC specs are as follows:

Athenatech A416BS.400 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower
Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ @ 2400 MHz
8Gigs of Ram
ATI HD 3870
320G WD 7200RPM (holds os)
500G Seagate 7200RPM
500Watt Antec PSU
Samsung Blu-Ray Player
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler
Running Vista Home Premium 64-Bit

Also if someone can recommend a good small case with very good air flow that will fit everything that would be great. I have been researching this case here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133045

Usually the bigger the heat sink the better the operation. It disperses heat more effieciently. However, that can be false in some cases.

lol well in that case this heatsink should cool the devils throne..........it is massive lol.

I just weaseled 2 case fans on the side vents of the case........can you say "tight fit" lol and the temp immediately dropped by 1 degree, but it is still idling at 38C. So I just ordered the helicopter case fan listed above and 2 HD coolers, if that does not work the last thing I can do is replace the CPU heatsink with something better. Whats the best Heatsink and fan for around $30ish?

After 9 minutes of running heavy load here is a shot of all my temps via Speedfan and PC wizard has the same readings.

So what do you think CPU heat sink or need better air flow?
