Which fans to use?

Where do I connect the fans?

I installed the Prolimatech - Megahalems CPU Cooler and also used a COOLER MASTER R4-C2R-20AC-GP 120mm Case Fan. I want to make sure that I did it right. I replaced the case fan with the Cooler Master instead of hooking it onto the CPU cooler. I also connected the fan onto the System Fan connection on the mb. Did I do it right?

Here's the link to the cooler. I thought the cooler master fan I bought were supposed to replace the ones in the case. The cooler is sitting about 3 inches from one of these case fans, that's why I didn't see the reason to also clip a fan onto the cooler itself. I'm not sure, this is my furst build and I may have gotten in over my head. But thanks for your help.

I know the cooler, I'm using 2x Scythe Ultra Kaze fans on mine...
Was going to upload a picture, but I don't have everything set up on this comp yet.
Keeps my AMD 965 a frosty 42C at 1.9V under 100% load.

you should have one on there.
What processor are you running it with, and are you OC'ing?
what are the temps like?

IMO, I would never run it without at least one fan on there.
Although it did pass plenty of tests for passive cooling on intel i7 920s at stock voltages.

Here are my specs. I just started the build today and these specs were recommended by another expert on this site. Unfortunately I'm learning that that the Computer 101 w/photos doesn't help with this equipment much.

OK, I've put one fan on the cooler and there are 3 fans on the case. Should I connect all of the fans directly to the PS or to the MB or a combination of both?
