I have to admit I myself am an Ati/AMD supported because I never tried anything else so my opinion does not matter that much on this.
What is most important to me is the price and partially noise the GPU creates. I mean do I really want to pay 1.7x more for a GPU that provides very similar performance and is loud as hell.
Oh wait, I lied a bit, I just remembered I am running now a geForce 220 because it was the cheapest GPU I could get when my Radeon HD4870x2 fried (how ironic huh?
) It still quite loud, I would expect something quiter.
Anyway I will definitely try a powerful nVidea GPU one day when I dont mind spending so much more money on similar performance.
