which graphics card should i choose for my computer

right i cant afford to build a computer at the moment coz more importent things have came up so i just want a new graphics card for my hp pavillion t430 for playing games for around 60 70 quid is this possible ? any suggestions ?

Hmm, if you know where to go, that should be able to get you a 7600GS. I suggest you hold off abit, because getting a budget to mid range card would not be very economical.

The 7600GS should be adequate; I would recommend going with a 7600GT, though.

Well the if you are going to get a 7600GS then for a few dollars more you can get a GT which is much better. The best card in terms of price versus performance at the moment is still the 7900GT. The 8600 just came out and the price is still up there for it to be worth it. So if you want to get a decent card now, I suggest you get the 7900GT if you can afford, if not get the 7600GT. It should be able to play most games, its definitely enough to play Command and Conquer 3 kane edition.

If you have a PCI-Express slot and have at least a 300W power supply then it will definitely fit because it doesn't require an external power source.

If you open up the side panel of your computer and look at the power supply, it should say what the max wattage is.
