which harddrive

ive got a maxtor sata 250 drive and a maxtor ide 160 drive.
which one should i use for os.

I would use the sata250 solely because its faster.

SATA SHOULD be faster, but it's not always the case. Either or should be just fine.

if you are gaming then use the pata hdd for your os and the sata to install your games on

It depends which has more cache. Use the one with the most cache for the OS
